This year, the Senior Ball took place at the Exploritorum in San Francisco, about an hour away from Granada High School. Students tend to spend the morning getting ready with friends and taking photos before making their way to the Exploratorium. Senior ball began at 7pm and went on till 11pm that night.
One of the highlights of the night was the food. Guests were able to enjoy a variety of options throughout the evening, which made it easy to take breaks from dancing and recharge with friends. Some options included a grilled cheese bar, mac-n-cheese, sushi, and more. There was also an ice cream bar that included taco ice cream.
Diyaa Moudgil (12) , a senior, attended senior ball.
“I had a really good time. The food was great and I overall enjoyed my time there. I think it was a nice way to kinda end our senior year” (Moudgil).
Another favorite feature was the photo booth, which quickly became one of the most popular spots of the evening. Groups of friends lined up throughout the night to take fun and candid photos together.
Of course, dancing was the center of the ball. The dance floor stayed active all night, with music that kept everyone engaged.
Aanya Patel (12) also attended the ball this year.
“I had a great time. The food was really good and I had a lot of fun with my friends, getting ready with them, taking photos, and dancing” (Patel).
However, the true highlight of the night came at the end-fireworks. As the ball reached the end, everyone gathered to watch the fireworks on the balcony overlooking the city.
Overall, senior ball was a fun experience for many students, providing a great way to end the school year, wrapping up the class of 2026’s four years at Granada.
