On April 22, 2026, students and families gathered at Granada High School for one of the campus’s community events, Multicultural Night. The celebration turned the school into a vibrant showcase of traditions, bringing together performances, food, and cultural displays that reflected the diversity of the student body.
Throughout the evening, students hosted booths representing cultures from around the world, offering traditional foods, clothing, and interactive activities. Attendees sampled dishes from regions, fostering exposure and education about the customs and histories behind them. Many booths were student-led, giving participants a chance to share their personal heritage and family traditions with the wider school community.
The night also featured a series of live performances in the school’s outdoor spaces. Dance groups performed routines, hip-hop and traditional dances. Parents and community members turned out in large numbers, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere across campus.
Events like Multicultural Night play an important role at Granada High, where student life extends beyond academics to include community-building activities and cultural awareness. As the evening came to a close, students and families left with a deeper appreciation for the diversity that defines Granada.
With strong turnout and enthusiastic participation, this year’s Multicultural Night was widely seen as a success and a reminder of the power of cultural exchange to bring people together.
