Sophia Bass, a current senior and IB Visual Arts student, has created a vibrant chalk pastel piece to convey the idea of a man using point ballet shoes. Primarily used and performed by women, this work represents a cultural shift of a man fascinated by point. Glaring a pensive look to the viewer, the pastel represents how mad the man is at the society that believes he should not use point to express himself.
