October 1 was the night of cackles and joy with multiple of witches walking through the streets. Downtown Livermore was filled with so much activities and socializing with themed dining, costume contest, and music, with a vast amount of participants filling all the seats of businesses throughout downtown. Moonlight Shopping involved many downtown retailers to open its doors with exclusive deals along with Bewitching Alley Bazaar, a pop up marketplace in “The Lot” on First Street, this went on from 4 PM to 9 PM.
Throughout the entire event, many downtown businesses offered exclusive specials and offers specifically for the event, as well as special reservations for restaurant to cater intrigued patrons, with seating starting from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and for those who missed the first time were able to find seating at 7:30 PM to 9 PM.
Witches Night Out was a perfect opportunity for downtown to promoting more involvement for businesses, pushing more people to look into other buildings, increasing revenues for commerce. The tickets sold for the event will go to the Downtown Livermore Inc. as donations who are a non-profit organization, who will continue to put their money into developing and maintaining Downtown Livermore to upkeep local businesses.
