In an interview with the Man of the Match, Berg gave his opinion of how the game went and how well they played.
“I felt like the game was going to go smoothly after getting a feel of the opposing team. With the pregame nerves going away when the match was ongoing.” said Berg.
Although he dropped 4 goals and 2 assists to help out his team to get the victory, Berg explained how he felt about his performance overall.
“I felt more confident after a while, giving me a better sense of how the game is going to be played out. I believe I did better than what I was expecting out of me.”
It seemed like the boy’s water polo team felt confident, having the better overall box score than Ponderosa. They also had more shots on target, assists, steals, and goals.
Ultimately, the team that was more dominant in the match is going to take the lead and victory in the end. Granada had possession of the ball for the majority, and showed great sportsmanship, aiding in their victory at the Sierra Shootout.
