This year Granada has a couple new foreign exchange students with us, Fernando Perrote and Andrea Galasso. Foreign exchange students come from different countries to participate in one school year in different country from which came from.
Fernando Perrote
Fernando Perrote is a foreign exchange student this school year here at Granada, he is 15 years old and he is from Spain. Fernando has lived in Spain his whole life and plans on returning after finishing out the school year here. He came to the US to learn about the country and how differently Americans live, he also would like to improve his english. In comparison to Spain, Perrote said, “The cultures are very different from each other in many ways.” His overall opinion of Granada is that he likes the school and the people. He also likes that Granada is bigger than his school in Spain.
Andrea Galasso
Andrea Galasso is another of this years Granada foreign exchange students. He is 16 years old. He came to the US from Milan, Italy where he has lived since he was born. Andrea wanted to try a different culture and that is why he decided to come to Granada, which he said is, “A lot bigger and friendly.” Andrea loves the school so far along with all the different activities and sports the school offers. He even plans to tryout for the soccer team in the upcoming season.
If you see them around, say hi.
